So many wonderful things have happened in my writing over the last year. I’m excited you’ve stopped by because 2013 is promising to be an amazing year and I hope join me for the ride. I am looking forward to sharing my dreams and books with readers of science fiction, paranormal and contemporary romance.
This is Me
For me, reading and writing are the truest escapes. Letters become words and words become sentences. When those sentences come together and transport you to a different place it’s a beautiful thing. I still read, but now I’m penning my own stories. And yeah, they take me to places I’ve always dreamed about. I love love. Romance lives between every beat of my heart; it’s in every tug of my soul. It takes many different forms. Sometimes it’s sweet. Sometimes it’s hot. But it’s always elemental and very, very real.
I graduated from college with a Bachelors of Science Degree. I majored in Biology, minored in Chemistry. Physics nearly killed me but I’m a sci/fi junkie from waaayy back. And I barely passed my Genetics class but it fascinated me just the same. My current projects are based in that fascination. Genetic manipulation is very real and even if you don’t believe, it’s happening as we speak. Frightening or not, the future holds some truly fantastic potential.
Now maybe my stories are true or maybe they aren’t. Maybe I just know something you don’t. (Can you hear the theme from X-Files right now?) Whatever the case, I’m writing about strong women and men who have gone through hell and come out on the other side…different. In my world, you may start out human but what you’ll end up as is anybody’s guess.
I write contemporary romance as well. The realism is something that draws me. To know that any person walking down the opposite side of the street or riding next to you on the train may be about to meet the person meant for them? Yeah, that kicks me in the heart every time. Stories run through my mind all the time and having them set in today’s world makes my imagination run wild.
Whether it’s science fiction, paranormal or contemporary–my stories are all about the love, folks, no matter where you’ve been or what you become.
